Love this idea! I buy reusable grocery bags (normal size & kid size) and use them for gift bags! I find they are always reused for multiple purposes.

If they are not for the purpose of claim, they serves no purpose after money spent. If you need to trace your spending, just download some money budget apps online and record those expenses immediately or asap. Dispose it afterwards.
This works for me, but not sure if works for anyone else.

If you can sew a straight line you can make them. There are lots of tutorials online. When I give a gift, I make sure to tell the recipient that the fabric bag is meant to be re-gifted/or reused. It’s almost like giving two gifts in one. My gift bags have ended up being used for makeup, hair bows, diapers and wipes – just about any way store stuff and make it look pretty. Just a thought.
